TPST-1
CELE_Y111B2A.15, Y111B2A.15
tpst-1 encodes a tyrosylprotein sulfotransferase; tpst-1 activity is required for proper cuticle formation and secretion of ROL-6, a cuticle collagen; when expressed in 293-T cells, TPST-1 exhibits tyrosylprotein sulfotransferase activity; a tpst-1::gfp promoter fusion is expressed beginning during embryogenesis and continuing through larval and adult stages; tpst-1 expression is seen mainly in the hypodermis, particularly the seam cells, and in head neurons.
