CDC-42
CELE_R07G3.1, R07G3.1
cdc-42 encodes a RHO GTPase; cdc-42 controls polarity of both individual cells and developing embryos by regulating the localization of PAR proteins; cdc-42 is also required for regulation of receptor-mediated endocytosis; CDC-42 is widely expressed and localizes to a number of different locations, including the cell cortex, centrosomes, recycling endosomes, and at the time of hypodermal cell fusion, to hypodermal cell boundaries.
