Multiple organellar RNA editing factor (MORF) family proteins are required for RNA editing in mitochondria and plastids of plants.
RNA editing in plastids and mitochondria of flowering plants changes hundreds of selected cytidines to uridines, mostly in coding regions of mRNAs.
