Latest News

BioGRID update 3.4.150 includes a comprehensive update to our Drosophila melanogaster (Fruit Fly) dataset in partnership with FlyBase.org. This update verifies and validates more than 48,000 existing interactions and incorporates an additional 19,000+ new interactions across more than 6,100 total publications. This update also increases the total number of Drosophila melanogaster interactions deposited in BioGRID to 67,932. These interactions and all associated meta data are available immediately online via all standard BioGRID searches and supported download formats. You can also find them available at FlyBase.org in all search result pages and in FlyBase.org download files.

A special thanks to the entire FlyBase Consortium for their tireless curation efforts and in particular Gil dos Santos for directly helping facilitate the BioGRID collaboration.

The BioGRID's curated set of physical and genetic interactions has been updated to include interactions, chemical associations, and post-translational modifications (PTM) from 63,281 publications. These additions bring our total number of non-redundant interactions to 1,153,781, raw interactions to 1,488,522, non-redundant chemical associations to 11,820, raw chemical associations to 27,785, Unique PTM Sites to 19,981, and Un-Assigned PTMs to 18,578. The BioGRID has loaded a new comprehensive Affinity Capture-MS dataset of 56,473 high confidence protein interactions in Human as reported by Huttlin EL et al in the publication: "Architecture of the human interactome defines protein communities and disease networks." (Nature 2017) [Nature][BioGRID][Pubmed]. The dataset and associated modified CompPASS scores are available immediately online via all standard BioGRID searches and supported download formats.
