Different splice variants of filamin-B affect myogenesis, subcellular distribution, and determine binding to integrin [beta] subunits.
Integrins connect the extracellular matrix with the cell interior, and transduce signals through interactions of their cytoplasmic tails with cytoskeletal and signaling proteins.
