Affinity Capture-Western
An interaction is inferred when a bait protein is affinity captured from cell extracts by either polyclonal antibody or epitope tag and the associated interaction partner identified by Western blot with a specific polyclonal antibody or second epitope tag. This category is also used if an interacting protein is visualized directly by dye stain or radioactivity. Note that this differs from any co-purification experiment involving affinity capture in that the co-purification experiment involves at least one extra purification step to get rid of potential contaminating proteins.

PSD-95 regulates CRFR1 localization, trafficking and ?-arrestin2 recruitment.
Corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) is a neuropeptide commonly associated with the hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal axis stress response. Upon release, CRF activates two G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs): CRF receptor 1 (CRFR1) and CRF receptor 2 (CRFR2). Although both receptors contribute to mood regulation, CRFR1 antagonists have demonstrated anxiolytic and antidepressant-like properties that may be exploited in the generation of new pharmacological interventions for ...
