alpha1 Integrin cytoplasmic domain is involved in focal adhesion formation via association with intracellular proteins.
Integrins are heterodimeric adhesion receptors consisting of alpha- and beta-subunits capable of binding extracellular matrix molecules as well as other adhesion receptors on neighbouring cells.
