Human actin binding protein (ABP) links specific membrane glycoproteins to cytoskeletal actin microfilaments. In human platelets and leukocytes, ABP directly links, respectively, the membrane glycoproteins GPIb and the high-affinity Fc receptor for IgG (Fc gamma IR) to cytoskeletal actin microfilaments.
