Interactions between Rho GTPases and Rho GDP dissociation inhibitor (Rho-GDI).
The Rho-GDP dissociation inhibitor (Rho-GDI) was used as bait in a two-hybrid screen of a human leucocyte cDNA library. Most of the isolated cDNAs encoded GTPases of the Rho subfamily: RhoA, B, C, Rac1, 2, CDC42 and RhoG. The newly discovered RhoH interacted very poorly with Rho-GDI. Another protein partner shared a homology with RhoA that points to Asp67(RhoA)-Arg68(RhoA)-Leu69(RhoA) as ... [more]

RHOH ARHGDIA | Affinity Capture-Western Affinity Capture-Western An interaction is inferred when a bait protein is affinity captured from cell extracts by either polyclonal antibody or epitope tag and the associated interaction partner identified by Western blot with a specific polyclonal antibody or second epitope tag. This category is also used if an interacting protein is visualized directly by dye stain or radioactivity. Note that this differs from any co-purification experiment involving affinity capture in that the co-purification experiment involves at least one extra purification step to get rid of potential contaminating proteins. | Low | - | BioGRID | - |
