The nucleoporins Nup170p and Nup157p are essential for nuclear pore complex assembly.
We have established that two homologous nucleoporins, Nup170p and Nup157p, play an essential role in the formation of nuclear pore complexes (NPCs) in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.
