Affinity Capture-Western

An interaction is inferred when a bait protein is affinity captured from cell extracts by either polyclonal antibody or epitope tag and the associated interaction partner identified by Western blot with a specific polyclonal antibody or second epitope tag. This category is also used if an interacting protein is visualized directly by dye stain or radioactivity. Note that this differs from any co-purification experiment involving affinity capture in that the co-purification experiment involves at least one extra purification step to get rid of potential contaminating proteins.

Bioinformatics analysis and single-cell RNA sequencing: elucidating the ubiquitination pathways and key enzymes in lung adenocarcinoma.

Lu T, Xu R, Wang C, Zhou X, Parra-Medina R, Diaz-Pena R, Peng B, Zhang L

Lung adenocarcinoma (LUAD) is a prevalent subtype of lung cancer associated with high mortality rates. We aimed to utilize single-cell multiomics analysis to identify the key molecules involved in ubiquitination modification, which plays a role in LUAD development and progression. We use a systematic approach to analyze LUAD-related single-cell and bulk transcriptome datasets from Gene Expression Omnibus (GEO) and The Cancer ...
