Phocein, an intracellular protein interacting with striatin, bears a few homologies with the sigma-subunits of clathrin adaptor proteins (Baillat, G., Moqrich, A., Castets, F., Baude, A., Bailly, Y., Benmerah, A., and Monneron, A.
