Asymmetric localization of a mammalian numb homolog during mouse cortical neurogenesis.
During Drosophila neurogenesis, differential segregation of Numb is necessary for daughter cells of asymmetric divisions to adopt distinct fates, at least partly by biasing the Notch-mediated cell-cell interaction.
