Activation of heterotrimeric G-protein signaling by a ras-related protein. Implications for signal integration.
Utilizing a functional screen in the yeast Saccharomyces cerevisiae we identified mammalian proteins that activate heterotrimeric G-protein signaling pathways in a receptor-independent fashion.
