Gamma-glutamyl transpeptidase was purified to apparent homogeneity from human testis by DEAE cellulose, acetone, precipitation, fractionation by ammonium sulphate, Sephacryl S-200 chromatography, Q-Sepharose chromatography and S-Sepharose chromatography following solubilization of the enzyme by Triton X-100.
