Ubiquitin ligase Ufd2 is required for efficient degradation of Mps1 kinase.
Ufd2 is a U-box containing ubiquitylation enzyme that promotes ubiquitin chain assembly on substrates. The physiological function of Ufd2 remains poorly understood.
